Iron Fist Season 2 Episode Titles Revealed

Is Marvel’s Iron Fist on twitter teasing the Iron Fist Season 2 Episode titles in the cryptic storefront tweets they’ve been releasing this week?

It looks like Marvel’s Iron Fist has been sharing the episode titles for their upcoming season 2. At San Diego Comic last week that Iron Fist Season 2 will be coming to Netflix on the 7th of September 2018.  Each night this week the Iron Fist Twitter account has been posting photos of store fronts with some recognizable statements on the signs. We’ve been speculating that each of these titles are titles for the episodes of Iron Fist Season 2 and with the help of our friends over at Sons Of The Dragon -The Immortal Iron Fist podcast we’ve been able to piece together a few other details about these images.

Episode 1 – Fury of the Iron Fist

The store front in the first tweet “Fury of The Iron Fist”. As this was the title given to the first appearance of Iron Fist in Marvel Premiere Vol 1 number 15 we’re guessing it will be the title of Season 2 Episode 1. It’s been announced that we will have some more K’un L’un set scenes in season 2 so will we see any recreation of this first issue on screen?

Episode 2 – “The City’s Not For Burning”

On the second tweet from July 21st the store front reads “The City’s Not For Burning”. This is the title of the 3rd issue of Iron Fist’s solo series from February 1976. This issue was written by Chris Claremont with art by John Byrne and featured an adventure with Danny teaming up with Misty Knight on a visit to London. It was announced that Simone Missick who plays Misty Knight in the Netflix series will be joining Iron Fist for Season 2. Does this mean we will see her as early as Episode 2 of the season?

Episode 3 – This Deadly Secret

The third storefront tweet reads “This Deadly Secret” the title of Issue #99 of Power Man and Iron Fist an issue from 1983 written by Kurt Busiek. Along with the main cast of Danny, Colleen, Misty and Luke Cage this issue also featured appearances from some of the major characters who were in the Luke Cage TV series including Hernan “Shades” Alvarez, Comanche, D.W. Griffith and Rafael Scarfe. Not all of these characters would be able to feature in a cross over but could we see a big Heroes For Hire reunion in this episode?

This was the final episode title revealed and unfortunately it looks like Netflix have chosen to release only ten episodes in Iron Fist Season 2. This seems to be a new way of doing things for Netflix as they seem to want all of their shows to follow a ten episode structure. Indications at the moment are that Daredevil Season 3 will still be 13 episodes but we will have to wait and see for future series.
