Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) throws the body of the murdered Will Simpson (Wil Traval) out to sea where Jessica and her family used to head for vacation. With her past getting people killed and her visions intensifying Jessica must face her past head on. With the help of Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor), they begin investigating the mystery killer of former I.G.H. patients. Jessica returns to the I.G.H. clinic where she comes across a new lead about a Dr Leslie Hansen who used to work at the facility. If things weren’t bad enough as she sets out to track Dr Hansen for answers her new superintendent issues an eviction notice and Jeri asks for Jessica’s help to dig dirt on her partners after Jeryn Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) is issued an ultimatum by Linda Chao (Angel Desai) and Steven Benowitz (Maury Ginsberg) as her medical diagnosis becomes known. Later in the day at Dr Hansen’s apartment they find an unidentified body in the basement. As the local hospital morgue attendant Eugene (Arnie Burton) is bribed to help identify the body, Trish tries to lure Dr Hansen from hiding by publicly naming her on Trish Talk. The ploy seems to work and Trish agrees to meet her until Jessica put a paparazzi stop to it faking the break-up of Trish and Griffin Sinclair (Hal Ozsan). Jessica heads to the meet up point in a bar where she grabs a quick sneaky drink before confronting Dr Hansen about the heinous crimes of I.G.H. As Trish is in lock down with Malcolm sitting on her she learns that the unidentified body is in fact Dr Hansen. As Trish and Malcolm Ducasse (Eka Darville) race to warn Jessica, she discovers for herself just how dangerous this mysterious woman (Janet McTeer) can be.
