Jessica Jones 205 Review Podcast Spoiler filled Synopsis
Written by: Jamie King
Directed by: Millicent Shelton
Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is in police custody and backed into a corner, accused of the murder of Nick Spanos (Maceo Oliver), one of Cheng’s associates. With nowhere to go, she is persuaded by Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) to tell the truth to the police and share her intel on the killer. One of the detectives questioning her, Eddy Costa (John Ventimiglia), who remembers the Kilgrave incident in his precinct believes her story, and releases her. Jessica promises to keep Costa informed as she continues to investigate. Elsewhere having been bailed from custody Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) struggles with the after-effects of using the IGH inhaler. A groggy Trish tries to pull herself together with the help of her mother, Dorothy Walker (Rebecca De Mornay), for an important appointment that turns out to be a proposal from her boyfriend Griffin; but Trish turns him down and in the aftermath of her decision takes another puff of the IGH drug. Meanwhile, Malcolm who is taking care of Inez Green takes her to Jeri, who agrees to place her in a safe house. But Jeri, with thoughts on her current medical condition, has ulterior motives as she asks Inez about the types of experiments conducted by IGH. Following up on leads by Inez, Jessica meets with a former janitor at IGH, David Kawecki, who is now an inmate at a mental hospital serving time for the murder of Green’s fellow nurse, who was killed by the mysterious woman. Jones learns of a shared interest in octopi that Kawecki has with an IGH doctor, called Dr Karl Malus. Jessica stakes out the aquarium until one day she recognizes the doctor, who she remembers from IGH just after her accident. But he is not alone. As Jessica closes in, the two suspects recognise her and Dr Karl’s companion smashes the aquarium glass to make their escape from Jessica.
