Luke Cage Episode 8 Review Podcast “Blowin Up The Spot” Spoiler filled Synopsis

Written by Aïda Mashaka Croal

Directed by Magnus Martens

While Luke Cage (Mike Colter) recovers from his first ever bullet wound with the help of Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), Misty Knight is trying to find Cornell Stokes’ killer. Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard) seeks help from Shades (Theo Rossi) to put some distance between her and the crime and uses receptionist Candace (Deborah Ayorinde) , a supposed eye witness to the murder, to point the finger squarely at Luke Cage. But Misty Knight (Simone Missick) finds the need to pursue her as too much evidence is pointing her way. Still under the care of Claire Temple, Luke is attacked again by a former friend, Willis ‘Diamondback’ Stryker (Erik LaRay Harvey), their pasts have been intertwined all along. Willis is the cause of all of Luke’s problems and brings more to bear as another explosive Judas bullet pierces Luke’s now breakable skin.
