Finally officially confirmed today by the Luke Cage account on Twitter Luke Cage Season 2 has been given the go ahead. Likely to take place after the events of Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher seasons all due to appear on Netflix in 2017. We can’t help but wonder if we’ll see the solo Defender of Harlem open his own business as a Hero for Hire in Season 2. Often commented on by characters appearing in Season 1 of Luke Cage from Bobby Fish (Ron Cephas Jones) to Method Man and more we expect that Luke will be going into business soon with his special brand of justice for the residents of the New York Borough. Will we be likely to see the team up of Luke and his comic book partner Danny Rand aka Iron Fist? After the Defenders TV series these two are likely to have developed a friendship but will it be one that will last the test of time?
We also want to know if there will be a rekindling of the relationship between Jessica Jones and Luke Cage by season two. It didn’t look like there was much going on with their relationship after the events of Jessica Jones Season 1 but perhaps that will all change in Luke Cage Season 2.

We’re looking forward to Luke Cage Season 2 when Mike Colter resumes his battle to rid the city of the criminals seeking to take it out of the hands of the good hardworking folks of Harlem. Check out the official green light video below. We are also really hoping the the visionary show runner Cheo Hodari Coker will return for Luke Cage Season 2 the show wouldn’t be the same without him.
