Synopsis Jessica Jones S01E02 – “AKA Crush Syndrome”

Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) resolves to prove Hope (Erin Moriarty) innocent of her parents’ brutal murder, as she tries to enlist a skeptical Jerry Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) to be Hope’s legal counsel. Jessica also begins to explore her own troubled past to find answers to help Hope. At the same time her one night stand with local barman Luke Cage (Mike Colter) starts to get complicated, as he’s told he was just another case of Alias Investigations and both of them begin to suspect that each other is not what they outwardly appear to be. As Jessica delves deeper in to the suspected death of her former adversary it becomes apparent that his death is but a lie. Other unexpected leads in the case give rise to a possible weakness in Kilgrave’s (David Tennant) special abilities. Now it becomes a level playing field!
