Synopsis for our Doctor Strange Movie Review 2016

Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) an exceptional yet arrogant neurosurgeon is involved in a car accident that seriously injures his hands. With crushed fingers, torn tendons, splintered bones and his career ruined he uses the last of his wealth to repair his injuries and regain control of his hands, his work and his life but to no avail. In a last gasp effort Strange heads to Kamar-Taj in Kathmandu, Nepal where he is introduced to a mysterious leader known as the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) and a new way of seeing the world. As he learns of magic, alternate dimensions and the sanctums located across the world to defend the earth from mystical threats he is told of Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen) a zealot and former disciple of the Ancient One who seeks to tear down the fabric of time and space for a new Master. As Kaecilius’ threat takes hold it is up to Doctor Strange and the Masters of the Mystic arts to defend the sanctums and prevent the fall of Earth.
