After the attack on the hospital by The Hand, and the rescue of the children, strange scars on one of the dead ninja’s leads to uncomfortable questions that the hospital board are not prepared to answer. As they cover up the events of the Ninja assault Clare Temple (Rosario Dawson) is compelled to quit Metro General. Also in Hell’s Kitchen Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) is concealing the truth from the police about her involvement with Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal). As she starts to work with Frank to track down the mysterious Blacksmith she soon learns how different their agendas are and how ruthless The Punisher can truly be. Elsewhere, Daredevil (Charlie Cox), finds himself collaborating with a very unexpected ally as he too is set on the trail of uncovering the Blacksmith. Sent on the path to Pier 81 and a ship containing a consignment of the Blacksmith’s heroin, The Punisher and Daredevil cross paths again as the Blacksmith’s men arrive to deal with Frank Castle for one last time. In another part of town the time is right for The Hand’s prophecy to be realised from the urn, as the blood of the children will lead to resurrection and rebirth!
