Avengers Age of Ultron was released in Ireland on 23 May and the full Defenders team are here to review this epic Joss Whedon written and directed film. To go along with the epic film we have recorded an extra long spoiler filled review of the movie. SPOILER WARNING – if you haven’t watched Avengers Age of Ultron you will be spoiled by this podcast. So go have a look and come back to hear our thoughts.

Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye band together as the Avengers again. This time to retrieve Loki’s scepter from a Hydra base in Europe. While searching the base Tony Stark discovers what could be the key to true artificial intelligence. With help from Bruce Banner, Tony unwittingly creates Ultron, an android built to protect the earth who quickly realises the planet would be better without all the human’s on it. Ultron enlists the help of super powered twins Wanda and Pieter to break apart Earths Mightiest heroes “the Avengers” from the inside.

Hi guys, what’s up. I did enjoy AoU, but I was kind of expecting more. I had the same feeling that it was way too confusing and there were so many important things happening at the same time. I thought it was a shame that the gems where treated so superficially. This is such a big deal, but Thor talks about it so casually!
However, it was good entertainment for Friday evening.I thought I saw the barrels with chemical waste we saw on DD but it was a false alarm D:
Your podcast is as amazing as always. I love to hear all the team assembled 8D. Later!
